How old are you?

I am 34 years old.

Where do you come from?

Originally I am from Lithuania, but for the 15 years, I have been traveling. Even though I am back in my hometown now, I am still spending 3 to 6 months on the road.

How long have you been doing photography?

I am a self-learner. The first camera I got when I was 19.

How long do you think it took you to find your personal style of shooting?

I like to call it Magical Realism. Being a hardcore traveler I am trying to bring a sensation of an encounter with the unknown world through images, seeking to maintain an intimate distance into the depth of the emotional, the mystical, the wild.

How long do you think it took you to find your personal style of shooting?

It probably took me around 5 years to start discovering photography in my own way, and then another 3 to personalize my style and develop my own visual language.

What would you say is the thing that most inspires you? / What is your main source of inspiration?

I think the most fundamental experience that has left the biggest impact on me is traveling. I have spent around 13 years on the road traveling independently, being directly exposed to all kinds of experiences. I think the state of being constantly curious, always facing something new, and being open for whatever comes next is the backbone of both; my work and my personality. It would be hard to say what comes first – photography out of traveling, or traveling out of photography.
