Our “Inspiration Feeder” presents to you short interviews with interesting visual artists from around the globe. Today in focus: Adrian Petrasch.
How old are you?
I am 31 years old.
Where do you come from?
I am from Germany, but i am living a location independent lifestyle for about 2 years now.
How long have you been doing photography?
I bought my first camera in 2011, but after a longer break I started taking pictures on a regular base in 2017 again.
КHow would you define your style?
I try to catch natural moments with my camera to get the right emotions into my pictures. I am improving my editing from day to day to create a more natural feeling and look. I do a lot of surf and lifestyle photography.
How long do you think it took you to find your personal style of shooting?
I was never really looking for my own style. It actually just happened. I always take a look on what other photographers do and what their style looks like. So i am collecting the best shots/shoots to pick the best things out of it to create my own “perfect” result. That’s how my personal style was created.
What would you say is the thing that most inspires you? / What is your main source of inspiration?
I have several photographers who are doing a really good job. So I get inspired by their work. But I also like to create some moodboards on behance. Behance has the big advantage of storytelling! Because most people just upload 1-3 pictures on instagram, so the story behind the series gets lost. I really love to see the whole idea of the shoot. That’s why I prefer Behance!
