Our “Inspiration Feeder” presents to you short interviews with interesting visual artists from around the globe. Today in focus: Adriana Napolitano.
Where do you come from?
I’m from Italy. My hometown is Matera, a beautiful city in the south. I’m currently living in Germany, but I’m planning to relocate back to Italy soon.
How long have you been doing photography?
I’ve always been interested in photography and cinematography, I’ve studied video editing too. But We can say I’ve been doing photography since 2012.
How will you define your style?
I always say that you can take some pop, some surrealism, some craftsmanship, and put them in a blender. Add a pinch of humor, and that describes my style.
How long do you think it took you to find your personal style of shooting?
I think it’s still evolving. Or, I hope so. It took some years to find “my way” yes, but I’m still learning a lot, and my tastes are evolving too. So I think that I will keep on exploring and get better (I hope).
What would you say is the thing that most inspires you? / What is your main source of inspiration
Everyday life, everyday objects, nature, feelings and dreams. I think that creativity is not only about made up stuff, but looking at things in a certain way and trying to give it back to others
