Our “Inspiration Feeder” presents to you short interviews with interesting visual artists from around the globe. Today in focus: Alexander Schoenberg.
How old are you?
I am 41.
Where do you come from?
I was born in Russia but have been living since 1994 in Hamburg, Germany.
How long have you been doing photography?
I started with photography in october 2015.
How would you define your style?
I am thinking more in projects – not in styles. I try to keep the picture simple and clear, in German we say: “less is more”… I love to shoot people in any way.. portraits, on the street, indoor.. Love to make repotages while I am traveling.
How long do you think it took you to find your personal style of shooting?
I don’t know. Do I have a certain style? 🙂 Maybe I reached a relatively good level (for me) in my photographs after 1,5-2 years.
What would you say is the thing that most inspires you? / What is your main source of inspiration?
At this time indeed “Behance”! A lot of great artists are on this platform! From painter to a graphic designer. Sometimes Instagram, maybe 1x.com too.
